Born and raised in the Texas hill country, Sahara has performed on A Prairie Home Companion and David Letterman, and her work has been featured in film and television. She has been performing original music since the age of 13, and has won multiple awards including Best Female Vocalist and Best Songwriter in the 2010 Austin Music Awards.
